The bright fireball was seen by many people from Vancouver Island , Vancouver, Seattle, and as far East as Spokane, Washington. \u00a0<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12.16px;\">The American Meteor Society received 116 reports of \u201ca fireball\u201d over Washington, B.C., Idaho and Oregon.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; color: black;\">Vancouver time that was \u00a0Thursday\u00a0<span style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\">March 16, 2017<\/span> at 9:39pm. \u00a0People described a green tail turning briefly yellow, followed by a<\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; font-size: 12.16px;\">\u00a0quick double flash at it broke up. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 12.16px; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif; color: black;\"><span style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\">Kathy M. wrote on the \u00a0AMS site: &#8220;<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri, sans-serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\"><em>It was so amazing and beautiful. background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif; color: black;\"><strong>TRIANGULATION<\/strong>: On these Allsky photos, North is at the top, and East is on the left. \u00a0Knowing the location of the photos, and from their directions, we can triangulate where the meteor was. \u00a0If you get your ruler out and draw intersecting lines on a map, it appears South of Kelowna BC, in Central Washington, over the Colville Reservation. \u00a0In this case, it&#8217;s unlikely it hit the ground.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\">A second smaller meteor was seen to the North on 03\/17\/2017 at 04:53 UT, 14 minutes afterward.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background-image: initial; background-position: initial; background-size: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-attachment: initial; background-origin: initial; background-clip: initial;\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"background-image: initial;
