The bright fireball was seen by many people from Vancouver Island , Vancouver, Seattle, and as far East as Spokane, Washington. \u00a0The American Meteor Society received 116 reports of \u201ca fireball\u201d over Washington, B.C., Idaho and Oregon.<\/p>\n<p>Vancouver time that was \u00a0Thursday\u00a0March 16, 2017\u00a0at 9:39pm. \u00a0People described a green tail turning briefly yellow, followed by a\u00a0quick double flash at it broke up.<\/p>\n<p>Kathy M. wrote on the \u00a0AMS site: &#8220;<em>It was so amazing and beautiful. I&#8217;ve seen small, white falling stars before but never anything like this&#8230;.large bright green with a huge white tail.
